Marc De Leye

Marc De Leye is a Partner of The Directors’ Office, the leading practice of independent Directors in Luxembourg, which he joined in 2007.

He offers Directorship services to a number of Investment Funds, Financial and Commercial Companies, incorporated under the Luxembourg and Cayman Island jurisdictions and encompassing all types of investment instruments and strategies. Initially expert in UCITS, he developed over the years an extended knowledge in PE, SIF and alternative investments (AIF).

Graduated in Financial operations and techniques, Marc has worked in Banks of prestigious names during 36 years. His last position was Executive Manager in Lloyds TSB Bank and Managing Director for its Funds.

Always motivated by the importance of Corporate Governance, Social Responsibility and Sustainability in the investment sector, Marc has been an active member of the RI Working Group of ALFI since its start in 2005. He participated namely to the implementation of LUXFLAG and the analysis of EUSEF.
