A pioneering strategy

On May 12th 2004 The Directors’ Office received, from the Ministry of Finance of Luxembourg, license number 36/04 to operate under the financial professional status ("PSF") as a "professional performing services of setting-up and of management of investment management companies".

The license was extended in January 2007 to allow The Directors’ Office to act as Domiciliary Agent.

In May 2007, TDO Management Company was incorporated as a Management Company under Chapter 13 of the law of December 20th, 2002.  Both The Directors’ Office and TDO Management Company operate under the supervision of the CSSF.

The initial capital of The Directors’ Office was underwritten exclusively by the individual founding Associates. Ownership has since been opened to new Associates, as well as to the management and the staff of The Directors’ Office. In order to ensure the highest standards of independence, no financial or other relation exists with any bank, service provider, legal or consulting firm.

We are proud to have been associated with several of the successful transitions of first Luxembourg domiciled self-managed investment and management companies into UCITS III compliant structures.
