Dr. Yves Wagner has both an academic and professional career. He holds a “Doctorat” in Economic Science and began working as a university professor. After a strong career within the Fortis Group, he was co-founder of The Directors’ Office. As an independent director today, he still teaches or holds chairs at different Universities and Business Schools, such as the “University of Luxembourg”, the “Institut de Formation Bancaire”, the “Agence pour le Transfert de Technologies Financières” and the “Académie Bancaire Européenne”. He is an advisor in research to the Luxembourg School of Finance and the President of the Luxembourg Society of Financial Analysts.

News from the Group The Directors' Office - CSSF issues Circular 07/308 on Risk Management & the Uses of Derivatives

On 2nd August 2007 the CSSF issued a key circular on financial risk management and the use of derivative instruments by UCITS.  The Circular, which expands upon, clarifies and replaces Circular 05/176, is to be implemented by all UCITS vehicles by the end of this year at the latest. Read more...
